Granola

January 10, 2025

Jump to Recipe·Print Recipe

What I love about homemade granola is how quick it is to make. Typically, my husband lets me know one evening that we’re low on granola and I get started making it right away. I mix it, bake it, let it sit over night, and store it in an air-tight container. The maple syrup makes it deliciously sweet and the perfect addition to yogurt or oatmeal.

Can I switch out ingredients?

Yes! If you want the granola a little sweeter, I recommend adding dried apples or apricots. If you want it a little more tart, add dried strawberries or raspberries. The maple syrup could be switched with honey, and you could add peanuts instead of pecans for a wonderful nutty combination. Also, you don’t have to add dried fruit or nuts to the granola. It will still be delicious without them.
